Global risk management solutions provider, Risk Solved has appointed Richard Thomas as its Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer to support the business’s continued strategic growth.

Specialising in client and business acquisition, business growth strategy, product development and customer service innovation, Richard has 25 years’ experience in the insurance risk management sector. His most recent role was European Risk Control Leader at Sompo International Global Risk Solution, prior to that he spent 10 years at QBE as the Head of Risk Solutions, and 8 years as the Director of Commercial at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance.

As Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer, Richard will be in charge of driving Risk Solved’s strategic growth, targeting new geographies and developing partnerships with global technology partners to provide data-led risk insights to clients.
