We currently have a vacancy for a Software Tester. We are looking for an experienced software tester who will ensure that our exceptional levels of software quality and deployments are met.

Key Accountability

  • Perform automated and manual tests to ensure software created by developers is fit for purpose

  • Analysis of software specifications produced by the product and project teams to:

    • Determine test plans

    • Execution of test scripts

    • Qualification of release impacts

    • Communicate and alert issues to key stakeholders

  • Analyse user stories and use requirements to establish validity and feasibility

  • Execute all levels of testing (system, integration and regression)

  • Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle

  • Establish effective working relationships with the project team

  • Develop and manage test plans, utilising automated software testing tools

Core Skills Required

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Sense of ownership and pride in the performance of the software and its impact on the success of projects

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • An understanding and comprehensive knowledge of the general insurance market is highly desirable

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

​Full-time, Permanent.  The role is based from our Midlands office.
