SOFTWARE TESTER
We currently have a vacancy for a Software Tester. We are looking for an experienced software tester who will ensure that our exceptional levels of software quality and deployments are met.
Key Accountability

Perform automated and manual tests to ensure software created by developers is fit for purpose

Analysis of software specifications produced by the product and project teams to:

Determine test plans
-
Execution of test scripts
-
Qualification of release impacts
-
Communicate and alert issues to key stakeholders
-

Analyse user stories and use requirements to establish validity and feasibility
-
Execute all levels of testing (system, integration and regression)
-
Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
-
Establish effective working relationships with the project team
-
Develop and manage test plans, utilising automated software testing tools

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Sense of ownership and pride in the performance of the software and its impact on the success of projects

Excellent attention to detail

An understanding and comprehensive knowledge of the general insurance market is highly desirable

Hours
​Full-time, Permanent. The role is based from our Midlands office.
